Return, Shipping and Shopping Policies


Our free shipping promo is on most purchases over $250 plus tax and may end at any time without notice.

Purchases must be made and shipped to a Canadian address

Note that not all orders qualify for this promo. Notable exceptions are (but are not limited to):

  • Bulk products (soil, lime, mulch, compost etc.)
  • Palletized wheeled goods (Snowblowers, tractors, zero-turn mowers) 
  • Oversized Accessories and gas products (ex: sweepers, push mowers, dump carts, baggers etc.)
  • Stihl Gas-powered Products (which are not permitted to be sold online as per Stihl Dealer Agreement. 
  • Rural locations, island locations and the territories often have overage fees.

If you order products that do not qualify and proceed to the checkout showing 'FREE SHIPPING' we will contact you with a shipping rate and you can decide whether to proceed with the purchase or take a refund on your order.

Additional charges may apply on some orders. You will be notified before shipping if there are additional charges and you have the option to decline before shipping. Additional charges may include (but are not limited to):

  • Residential delivery fees for palleted products and for certain addresses (wheeled equipment, large accessories, furniture and some grills)
  • Tailgate charges for palleted products (wheeled equipment, large accessories, furniture and some grills)
  • Dangerous goods charges.


Most purchases made on before 12pm AST, Monday-Friday, will be shipped out the same day and you will receive a shipping notification. Oversized items such as furniture, small engine equipment etc require extra processing and packing time and will be processed as quickly as we can. We strive to have all oversized orders processed within 2 business days where possible. Orders placed after 12pm AST are processed as quickly as possible but may only go out the next day. Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays will be shipped out on Monday using the shipping method selected at checkout.

All shipping rates are calculated at checkout before completing your purchase. Several options and timeframes are made available to you. You can select the shipping option that best suits your needs.

Please note that most shipping carriers do not deliver to PO boxes so a residential or business address must be supplied.

There is a small subset of products that we do not ship. This includes our bulk products (soil, fertilizer, grass seed and compost) as well as some over-sized accessories like dump carts. 

Any order tracked and deemed 'delivered' by the carrier is now the customer's responsibility. Should an order be tracked as 'delivered' and the customer claims it did not arrive (either by carrier error, theft, etc.) we will offer to open a claim with the carrier on the customer's behalf however there is no obligation on our part to replace the item if the carrier provides proof of delivery.




    Items bought in store are available for a return under the following conditions:

    • Within 30 days of purchase
    • In original packaging
    • With receipt
    • Unused

    The following items are non-returnable:

    • Electronic parts
    • Paint and Spray products
    • Any equipment that has been used - All of our equipment has a rigorous manufacturer's defect warranty.
    • Special order parts may be subject to a 20% restocking fee even if returnable

    Once a return is received and inspected, you will be refunded the purchase price, less any restocking fees, plus HST using the method in which you used to pay originally. The original card must be present to complete the return. Purchases made through Interac will be returned in cash.



    Refunds from online purchases are subject to the same conditions as items purchased in-store.

    Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.


    SECTION 3- Refunds (if applicable)

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


    SECTION 4 - Shipping

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


    If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
